Programming

Intercultural Curriculum

  • Intercultural curriculum publisher for HubICL an on-line collaborative space for mentors, researchers and educators in intercultural competence, multiculturalism, diversity and inclusion, social justice, international education, and/or study abroad

Academic Curriculum

  • A small sampling of curriculum I created for courses at Purdue University such as ENG 106 Introduction to Composition, ENG 106Y Introduction to Composition Online, ENG 238 Intro to Fiction, and ENG 286 The Movies

Community Programming

  • A small sampling of programming I have done in the community outreach initiative "Big Read" at Purdue University. The "Big Read" event is to "enrich Purdue and Greater Lafayette through the shared experience of literature." Each year the committee selects a book that becomes the theme for engaging and free community events

Museum Programming

  • Worked with the exhibit's team at The Children's Museum of Indianapolis (TCM) to create the concept matrix and experience onesheets for the exhibits Dance Experience, Disney's Lion Guard, Mickey's Roadster Racers, American Pop Experience, and Riley Children's Health Sports Legend Experience (I can share materials for interview purposes only - all materials are the property of TCM)

  • On my own I created the concept matrix and experience onesheet for a Harry Potter exhibit proposal for TCM

  • As a gallery facilitator at TCM I aided my supervisors in creating high-quality and age-appropriate programs by editing scripts, gathering background research, and testing program materials and activities. Many of these activities have since easily been adapted to free virtual programs featured on the TCM website and Youtube channel titled “TCM At Home.” Exhibits include Jolly Days, The Science Behind Ripley's Believe It Or Not, DC Superheroes: Discover Your Superpowers, Ancient Greece, Hot Wheels: Race to Win, Paw Patrol Adventure Play, American Pop, and Star Trek: Exploring New Worlds
